我们非常荣幸，近期 OzeanGate Waterproofing Specialist 获得 新山一家著名装修设计公司 的委任，携手参与 KSL City Mall Johor Bahru 厕所翻新工程，并负责专业防水系统施工。
商业商场的厕所每天都有大量人流使用，长期处于潮湿环境，因此防水工程绝不能只追求施工速度，更重要的是每一道工序都必须严格按照专业标准完成。
很多人认为防水就是安装一层 Membrane，但事实上，真正决定防水系统耐久性的关键，是施工前的基层处理。
为什么厕所一定要做 Angle Fillet（阴角圆弧处理）？
墙面与地面的交接处，是最容易出现裂缝及渗漏的位置。
如果直接把 Membrane 铺设在 90° 直角上，可能会导致：
❌ Membrane 无法完全贴合基层。
❌ 长时间受建筑物热胀冷缩影响而产生裂缝。
❌ 墙角形成应力集中，降低防水系统寿命。
因此，我们会先使用高品质防水砂浆制作 45° Angle Fillet（阴角圆弧）。
它的作用包括：
✅ 减少应力集中。
✅ 提高 Membrane 与基层的贴合度。
✅ 增强墙地交接处的防水性能。
✅ 降低裂缝及渗漏风险。
✅ 延长整体防水系统使用寿命。
Primer Coating（底漆）为什么如此重要？
完成 Surface Preparation（基层处理）后，我们会全面施工 Primer Coating。
Primer 并不是可有可无，它是 Membrane 与混凝土之间的重要结合层。
主要作用包括：
✅ 增强 Membrane 与混凝土之间的附着力。
✅ 封闭混凝土毛细孔，降低吸水率。
✅ 固定基层灰尘，提高施工品质。
✅ 提供更稳定的黏结基础。
✅ 提升整体防水系统的耐久性及长期表现。

🚧 KSL City Mall Johor Bahru – Toilet Waterproofing Renovation Project
We are honoured that OzeanGate Waterproofing Specialist has been appointed by a well-known interior design and renovation company in Johor Bahru to participate in the toilet renovation project at KSL City Mall Johor Bahru, providing professional waterproofing system installation.
Shopping mall toilets experience constant daily usage and are continuously exposed to moisture. For this reason, long-term waterproofing performance depends not only on the membrane itself but also on proper substrate preparation.
Why is Angle Fillet Important?
The wall-to-floor junction is one of the most vulnerable areas for water leakage and cracking.
Installing a waterproofing membrane directly over a sharp 90-degree corner may result in:
❌ Poor membrane contact with the substrate.
❌ Cracking due to structural movement and thermal expansion.
❌ Stress concentration at the corner, reducing the lifespan of the waterproofing system.
To prevent these issues, we first construct a 45-degree Angle Fillet using high-quality waterproof mortar.
Its benefits include:
✅ Reduces stress concentration.
✅ Improves membrane adhesion and conformity.
✅ Enhances waterproof protection at wall-floor junctions.
✅ Minimises the risk of cracks and leakage.
✅ Extends the service life of the waterproofing system.
Why is Primer Coating Essential?
After completing the surface preparation, we apply a professional Primer Coating before installing the membrane.
Primer serves as the bonding layer between the concrete substrate and the waterproofing membrane.
Its functions include:
✅ Improves adhesion between the membrane and concrete.
✅ Seals concrete pores and reduces water absorption.
✅ Stabilises dust and loose particles on the substrate.
✅ Creates a stronger bonding surface for the membrane.
✅ Enhances the durability and long-term performance of the waterproofing system.
